Yes.

What is the minimum legal requirement coverage required in your country?

There is no minimum legal requirement.

What additional coverage does your country recommend (such as medical insurance, search and rescue etc...)?

We recommend having medical insurance, and also search & rescue and some kind of PLB in the case of cross-country flying.

Is your NAC prepared to provide a special insurance coverage for guest pilots who do not comply with your national law?

Currently we don't provide any type of insurance coverage.

Other information

For the moment in Romania it is still mandatory to ask permission from the air traffic control (central and local offices of the Romanian Aero Club) each time we are flying and we strongly recommend to all visiting pilots to contact the local clubs and instructors when they want to fly. The good thing is that we can fly almost everywhere in our country.
