EDIC WG & Approvals
The EDIC WG is the title of the Electonic Devices in Competition Working Group set up by CIAM in the latter half of 2013. The first Chairman of the EDIC WG was Eur Ing Paul NEWELL (United Kingdom). The EDIC WG's purpose is the specification, testing and approval of electronic devices used in FAI/CIAM competitions. The EDIC WG will liaise with electronics manufacturers and others than have a impact on FAI Aeromodelling and Space Models competitions. The first devices under this process were the AMRT devices used in F5J competitions. Ever since other devices were approved or different class and other will follow in due course.

From 2019, Ing Manred LEX (Austria) is the Chairman of this WG.
